Sustainability Research 

The challenge of sustainability in production and processing technologies constitutes one of the most pressing issues of modern life. The central objective of this journal is to investigate a fundamental question: The question to be addressed here is How scientific and engineering advancements can be harnessed to achieve a sustainable future?.

The journal operates on the premise that technology is not an end in itself, but rather a tool whose impact is contingent upon its application. Consequently, we invite submissions that critically examine not only the potential for enhanced productivity and improved living standards but also the broader environmental and social ramifications of deploying technological innovations.

The present journal is dedicated to elucidating the role of science and technology in advancing sustainability through a robust interdisciplinary approach. We hereby extend an invitation to scholars from a variety of scientific and academic disciplines to contribute their research, thereby fostering meaningful dialogue and the cross-pollination of ideas across disciplinary boundaries. The journal is published on a quarterly basis, with four issues published per year, in both Persian and English, and is available in electronic format only. The journal has been awarded fourth-level specialised academic accreditation (Level 4) and is fully published in an open-access electronic format.
